Hi I'm Assya!
Welcome to my page. Are going through difficulties recently? Do you feel lost? Tired? Conflicted, anxious or simply unable to understand what is going on? I am here to help you! I am available from Mondays to Fridays between 12pm and 5pm.
About me and my practice
I create a highly caring and empathetic space for my clients, promoting safety and using a non-judgmental & non-directive approach.
I am able to work with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds using different modalities, including psychodynamic, existential, humanistic, faith-based, and trauma-informed therapies.
Experience
I have experience of short-term and long-term client work, all within an awareness of cultural differences and issues around race and diversity. Able to do therapy in three different languages, I have worked in multicultural environments and have helped clients struggling with PTSD, sexual and domestic abuse, war trauma, FGC, OCD, low self-esteem, depression and anxiety.
